This is the year the village found out that the bank does not own the common ground, the village owns it.  We are 507 OWNERS and we, the 507 are the MANAGEMENT.  We have hired a management company that pays our 17-20 bills each month, and who started their business in 2005.  The bank owns the maintenance fee paid each month as collateral.  The board continues to talk about assessment and will make that their main focus in 2007 and ‘08 for additional monies.

Present loan ends 2018 January. It is also illegal to pay down or pay off the present mortgage by our governing documents from the attached judgment.  Shares cannot be cashed in even as a donation unless all share holders turn them in all at once.  If the 507 owners do not volunteer as a whole, we cannot be assessed.  The "pay-off-the mortgage" group has been working hard, but now knows that no assessment is possible without getting 507 volunteers.

The corporation that purchased the apartments March 2007 are not legally bound by our Covenants, by-laws, or Articles  of Incorporation.  They do it as a courtesy.
